Welcome

Dates and location : 22-23 March 2010
at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center,
60 New Ratchadapisek Road, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.

This national, 2-day conference and exhibition is the first practical step in a new government-led initiative, backed by leading private-sector groups, to accelerate rapidly the growth of the PV solar energy market in Thailand. Thailand is the largest producer of energy in the 560-million population ASEAN region (total capacity currently 27GW), and its 2009 national plan for renewable energies attributes the highest potential to solar energy.

The conference will focus on doing, not talking: on the practical programmes need to achieve the enormous potential the country offers: in government, industry, and finance.

Key Features:
•   Over 10 established international experts to present best international practice.
•   A first day of plenary sessions on markets, technology, cost, investment, finance, and government policy.
•   7 breakout workshops on Day 2, each with a fine focus on one area for action.
•   Simultaneous translation English/Thai throughout.
•   49 exhibition stand modules available, immediately adjacent to the plenary conference hall.
•   One late evening opening for the public at end of conference, to attract wide public interest.
•   Sponsorship opportunities available to maximise impact.
